Development Manager candidates will have five+ years of management
experience in software development, four years prior experience as a
Software Developer, proven experience with a variety of technologies
in the areas of .Net, OO, Ajax, SOA, SOAP, UDDI, WSDL, XML / XSL /
XPATH, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Services, proven experience with
relational database systems, including data modeling and SQL,
excellent analytical problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills,
excellent time management and leadership skills, excellent oral and
written communication skills in English, a BS in a computer science,

The selected Senior Director / Senior Application Development Manager
candidate will, in this State of the Art environment, oversee the
development of the strategic solutions for the Investment Management
segment enhancing and supporting the existing Desktop application as
well as leading the development of the new web-based application.

Work closely with the various components and framework teams to build
the solutions according to the company's best practices.

Work with the Business Development team to evaluate new technologies
and to integrate 3rd parties components in the company's solutions.

Work with the Application Support team to ensure the proper support
and issue resolution are in place and lead the effort to improve the
performance and stability of the company's solutions.

Specific Responsibilities:

-Work with Product Management to scope projects and define the product
roadmap as well as to prioritize tech initiatives against product
initiatives.
-Work with the architecture group to ensure the tech roadmap and
development projects adhere to architecture governance standards and
is consistent with the strategic platform goals
-Ensure that development teams follows the development process and
completes the appropriate documentation and reviews in order to
maximize the predictability and success of projects.
-Collaborate with QA to ensure proper quality assurance testing.
-Work with Application Support to evaluate and improve the performance
and reliability of the solutions.
-Interact with senior management on project status

Massachusetts offers a generous starting compensation package based on
experience with a starting base salary in the $120,000 to $130,000 per
year range plus a 15%-20% annual bonus bringing the first year annual
package in the $138,000 to $156,000 per year range with generous
